- Serra is an organization of lay Catholics who support, through awareness, prayer, and our activities, Catholic religious vocations - those in formation and those of the current priesthood and of other vowed religious.
- The organization is named after Franciscan Missionary St. Junipero Serra, the founder of the California missions.
- Serra was founded in Seattle, WA in 1935 by four laymen.
- Today there are more than 19,000 members in 1,170 clubs distributed over 46 countries.

3) Self-evaluation as an Everett Serran
a) I strive to be a better Catholic as a result of the opportunities offered me
as an Everett Serran.
b) I strive to daily pray for vocations, the perseverance of vocations and
support Quo Vadis Days, Discernment Nights, Fundraisers and other
vocation activities that support our Archbishop, his Vocation Director and
our Everett Serra Club Chaplain.
c) I strive to attend Everett Serra Club (ESC) meetings.
d) I strive to help develop a spirit of friendliness and fellowship among all
members of the Everett Serra Club
e) I strive to add one new active member to the Everett Serra Club.
f) I strive to grow in my ability to Serve the Everett Serra Club in a
leadership position.
